Alpine Sports Headquarters

The SiMo Academy, the new training and education center, is located in the striking new building of the Alpin Sport Zentrale in the heart of Schruns. No fewer than 44 different job profiles across the entire tourism sector are taught here. This makes Silvretta Montafon the largest employer in the tourism industry and creates career opportunities for young people.

In addition to the newly created Silvretta Platz, the public areas of the building include the lobby with a gathering space and information center. Events and other activities focus on nature, adventure, leisure, and sports. The new building literally brings two requirements together under one roof: deeply rooted regional architectural traditions and the use of local materials on the one hand, and modern proportions on the other. The result is an authentic, light atmosphere and a nod to the distinctive character of the mountain huts so common in the Montafon.
