Childcare Center and Underground Parking, Dornbirn Haselstauden

Structural Engineering
Concrete construction

A versatile educational complex has been built in Dornbirn-Haselstauden, comprising a children’s center, a gymnasium and event hall, and a two-story children’s pavilion. The children’s center features a basement and four above-ground floors, while the gymnasium and event hall has two basements, a ground floor, and an upper floor. The pavilion, which includes an integrated transformer room, forms the boundary of the newly constructed children’s playground.

The entire campus has underground levels. Beneath the new village square, the underground parking garage connects the buildings and also serves as an underground passageway between the children's center and the gymnasium and event hall.

The buildings were constructed using reinforced concrete. The drive-through underground parking garage, with its complex structural framework, presented a particular challenge.

We were commissioned to handle the structural engineering for the children's center, the pavilion, and the underground parking garage, and were thus able to make a significant contribution to the project's completion.
