New Operational Facility for CCL Label
Concrete construction
In the Pfeller industrial park in Dornbirn, a 140-meter-long and 70-meter-wide office and production building was constructed on a 20,000-square-meter site for CCL, a global pioneer in the packaging industry and the world’s largest label manufacturer.
We were responsible for the structural engineering on this project. The production areas and office spaces were constructed on a deep-foundation slab, primarily using prefabricated construction methods with prefabricated columns and structural elements.
The technical area, the receiving area, and the shipping area, on the other hand, were constructed using cast-in-place concrete. The roof structure of the production areas is designed as a green flat roof with an integrated photovoltaic system.
The high-bay warehouse, which is also built on the deep-foundation slab, covers approximately 1,000 m² of storage space and is integrated into the site’s overall logistics concept.
