New Construction of Employee Housing, Latschau

The task was to prepare a functional specification (FLB), including room type manuals, evaluation criteria, and sample lists. 

The project involves the construction of two fully functional, standalone staff residences using a modular timber construction method, each consisting of a three-story residential building in Tschagguns-Latschau, near the Falkensteiner Hotel Montafon. For the hotel’s staff, 52 guest rooms with three different floor plans and interior design concepts were created, featuring common areas, bicycle, ski, and fitness rooms, as well as ancillary spaces such as storage and utility areas. The general contractor (GC) was responsible for both the planning and the construction work.

In addition to the modern and well-conceived design and high-quality construction, the client placed great emphasis on a design that minimizes operating costs.
