Anna, Rankweil

The renovation of the historic “Schwarzer Adler” inn has given rise to the new “Anna” brewery restaurant in the center of Rankweil, operated by the Mohrenbrauerei. The project combines historic architecture with modern dining culture and plays a significant role in revitalizing the town center.

We were responsible for the structural engineering aspects of the concrete construction—particularly with regard to structurally significant modifications to the existing building and the extension. In addition, we handled project management as part of the construction management process, coordinating the entire planning and construction process and playing a key role in ensuring that the project remained on schedule and within budget.

In addition to modernizing the existing structure, a spacious outdoor area with approximately 140 seats was created, complemented by a new service station. The renovation required a high degree of coordination between historic preservation requirements and contemporary use.

Today, the "Anna" brewery and restaurant embodies a successful blend of tradition, architectural excellence, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
