Kössen Educational Center

The new Kössen Education Center is located at the northern end of the existing access road leading to the triple-purpose gymnasium and the current retirement and nursing home, and brings together an elementary school, a kindergarten/daycare center, an after-school care center, and a gymnasium under one roof for the community.

While the central three-story school building lies in direct alignment with the defining main axis, thereby creating an urban boundary for the heart of the neighborhood, the two-story kindergarten building is aligned with the height of the adjacent triple-purpose gymnasium.

The single-story after-school care facility serves as a link between the educational center and the residential buildings to the west.
