Renovation of existing buildings

FH Vorarlberg is growing steadily and has achieved significant success in the field of research as well. This has led to an increased need for space, which has been met through the expansion of the Dornbirn campus. The project was planned in three construction phases and has since been successfully completed

Construction Phase 1:
In the first phase, the buildings on Hochschulstraße (sections U, V, and W) were expanded upward and extensively renovated. Section V gained two additional floors, while Section W was expanded by four levels. This created a total of 2,334 square meters of additional usable space. In addition, densification measures and functional adjustments were carried out in all sections. The first construction phase was completed on schedule in 2021.

Today, these buildings house, among other things, the cafeteria, lecture halls, classrooms, and various laboratories.
