Facade of the Frankfurt Justice Center

Structural Engineering
Glass and facade construction

A major modernization project for the Hessian judiciary is currently underway for the new Frankfurt Justice Center at Konstablerwache. As part of the project, Building C will be completely demolished and rebuilt, while Building Z will be constructed as a new addition. Both buildings will serve as modern office buildings in the future.

We are responsible for the structural engineering for the glass and facade construction. The facades are constructed using high-quality prefabricated elements and meet enhanced requirements for burglary protection—a key consideration given the sensitive nature of the building’s use by the Higher Regional Court, the Office of the Attorney General, and other institutions.

By mid-2027, approximately 38,500 square meters of usable space will be completed, including high-security courtrooms and modern office areas. Sustainable measures such as solar power and district heating are an integral part of the project, which is being carried out by HOCHTIEF and LBIH.
