Traunleiten Power Plant - Gravel Sluice

Bidding, consulting, and ongoing monitoring

Preparation of technical specifications for two new gate mechanisms at the Wels Traun Weir, which serves as the intake structure for the diversion channel leading to the Traunleiten power plant. The new guide rails for the gates must be integrated into the existing guide rails, as the existing structure cannot be removed from the facility. The limited dimensions require the development of a new guide concept, which will be examined as part of a preliminary structural analysis.
