Geesthacht Pumped-Storage Power Plant

Mechanical Engineering
Component Inspection (VT, MT, PT, UT, H)
Plant measurements – shaft vibration/balancing
Technical and economic analyses (in-depth inspections, TDD)

The goal of the project is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the entire facility in the fields of mechanical engineering and steel hydraulic engineering in order to develop an appropriate maintenance strategy.
Key components of the assessment include an in-depth inspection of one group of machines while they are drained and another group while they are operational.
