Renovation of the Glass Roof OSZ Bruneck

Key details
The Bruneck Secondary School Complex, built in the 1990s according to a design by architect Dr. Albert Colz, houses the Realgymnasium and the Humanist Gymnasium. The renovation project involves the restoration of the two lung-shaped, mirror-image skylights above the inner courtyards, which consist of many small, polygonal glass panes.
The poor condition of the building, water infiltration, and a large number of broken windows—which have already been secured using a system we developed—make prompt renovation essential.
We assist the general contractor with the facade design, which includes:
_ Assessment of the current condition
_ Design, including the definition of superstructures and the development of a usage and maintenance plan
_ Tender planning, including quantity take-off, preparation of specifications with material lists and quality requirements, and connection details
_ Maintenance planning
