The renovation involves the sloped glass roof in the courtyard of the Max Valier Technical High School. Due to condensation on the steel structure carrying hot water and rainwater infiltration, the existing fire-retardant coating was damaged and no longer met the required standards.

The scope of work includes the removal of the fire-retardant coating, as well as the delivery and installation of the glass roof and smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV) elements, sheet metal cladding with the associated substructure, insulation, all system connections in accordance with the design specifications, cabling within the structure, and airtight and rainwater-tight connections to the building envelope.
The five-month construction period must be coordinated with ongoing school operations to minimize construction noise.
