Sonne Lifestyle Resort Renovation

In the summer of 2024, the “Sonne Mellau – Feel Good Hotel” underwent a comprehensive renovation. Its modern architecture combines openness and spaciousness. Following a careful renovation, the rooms and suites offer greater comfort, complemented by four new suites with special amenities such as steam showers and wine refrigerators.
The spa area has been expanded to 1,500 m² and includes saunas, whirlpools, and a private spa. The sun deck with pool and lounge has been redesigned, complemented by a fitness area and a yoga room.

Sustainability played a key role: a large solar power system and a private water source for garden irrigation underscore the commitment to the environment.

We were commissioned to handle the structural engineering for the entire renovation and oversaw both the masonry and wood construction work. This ensured that the modern design was built on a solid technical foundation.

The hotel now offers a sustainable retreat for peace and relaxation in the Bregenzerwald.
