Our projects demonstrate that structural engineering and architecture are inextricably linked even in earthen construction: clear load-bearing systems, coordinated wall thicknesses, and precise details result in solutions that are both efficient and visually compelling. Visible earthen structures place special demands on planning and execution—particularly with regard to openings, connections, and the construction process. The earlier we are involved, the more effectively resources, details, and processes can be optimized.
