Resource-saving construction

Massive consumption of resources requires a rethink. The existing use of building materials must be critically questioned. Intelligent designs with environmentally friendly materials can save many times over valuable resources. Energy consumption and material costs, considered over the entire life cycle, can usually be reduced through constructive planning and well thought-out designs. 

Particularly exciting in this context is our rammed earth research project ‘Load-bearing Rammed Earth’ Lehmbau-Forschungsprojekt „Tragender Stampflehm“, which we have been working on for more than three years in close collaboration with Martin Rauch (Lehm Ton Erde Baukunst GmbH, Schlins AT).
